Arunima is Director of Aims Global Immigration Services Ltd and Aims Global Education and specialises in working with students to smooth their path to residency in New Zealand.
As an immigrant herself she understands from personal experience what it is like to move to a new country, to go through the process of achieving residency, to settle into a different culture, and to work towards bringing other family members out to New Zealand.
This experience has structured her approach at Aims Global Immigration Service. Every client has direct contact with Arunima. They all have her phone number and know she is just a text away should they have any problems.
This support continues long after the clients have gained residency. Despite Aims Global now having more than 5000 clients on its books, every client receives a monthly newsletter so they can be kept up to date with any changes in policy that might affect immigrants.
Arunima also works tirelessly in the area of policy development. As an industry leader in the area of immigration she has been approached by government ministers to provide submissions on pilot schemes and to analyse policy to ascertain the affect it will have on students. She has also identified areas of concern and approached the minister to implement changes to avert problems for students before they occur.
Arunima qualified with a bachelor in engineering and is also a fully licensed immigration adviser. She started practising in the immigration industry in 2004 and studied immigration law at Massey University and a graduate diploma from AUT.
She cofounded Aims Global Education with her father in India. The company was a member of the NZ Specialist Agents Group, a group appointed by Education NZ and Immigration NZ.
She started Aims Global Immigration Services in 2007. Originally a one-man-band, it grew into a successful immigration practise consisting of 3 fully licensed immigration advisers, plus administration and documentation staff.
Arunima is extremely passionate about her work and finds immense satisfaction in achieving results for her clients.
Along with being a successful entrepreneur, family is very important to Arunima and she is the mother of a two young children. In what little spare time she gets she loves to spend time with her family, travel, shop and hopefully catch up on her sleep.
